08-12-2008The outlook for Danish economy is marked by the financial turmoil and bleak prospects for the global economy.
The exchange rate and the interest rate spread vis-à-vis the euro area have been under pressure, confidence indicators have fallen further and public finances are expected to deteriorate amid falling stock and oil prices. In 2010 the fiscal balance is expected to turn clearly negative for the first time since the mid-1990’s.
